Does a 100 ton crane need a permit to travel in Abu Dhabi?
Standard configurations travel as heavy vehicles. Some configurations, and the counterweight transport, can need route approval as an oversized load. We arrange this in-house once the configuration is confirmed.
What ground does it need?
Firm, level ground at each outrigger. Backfilled or recently excavated ground usually needs mats. Tell us where the crane will stand and what the surface is.
Can it lift inside a factory with a roof?
Only where the crane can set up outside and reach in, or where there is a roof opening. Headroom limits how far the boom can be raised, so send the roof height with your enquiry.
How much notice do you need?
Standard lifts can often be arranged within a day or two. Where route approval is needed, the lead time follows the approval.
