What is the difference between a scissor lift and a boom lift?
A scissor lift moves straight up and down and suits work directly above its base, such as racking or ceiling MEP. A boom lift can extend outward and around obstacles, which makes it the right choice for façade work or reaching over structures. We can help you pick the right one from your task description.
Can access equipment be delivered to a site with restricted access?
Yes. Our spider lifts are specifically suited to restricted access: they fold to pass through standard doorways and lift shafts, and we plan delivery routing in advance for any site with tight gate or floor-loading constraints.
Do you provide IPAF-trained operators for boom and scissor lifts?
Certified, IPAF-trained operators are available on every booking. If your own crew holds valid IPAF certification, self-drive hire is also available at a reduced rate.
